PM Modi interacts with students of HSS Sonwar | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 21 (KNO): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday interacted with students of Higher Secondary School (HSS) Sonwar Srinagar. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), PM Modi interacted with the students during the international Yoga day. Taking to the microblogging platform X, School Education Department said, “After leading a yoga session at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi interacted with students of HSS Sonwar Srinagar.” (SIC) “The Hon'ble Prime Minister's presence was a significant and proud moment for the entire JKUT, emphasizing the region's inclusion in national celebrations and fostering a sense of unity and pride,” it reads. The School Education Department further said that his engagement with the students underscored the importance of youth participation in yoga and its benefits for the younger generation. “This visit on International Yoga Day 2024 not only reinforced the global appeal of yoga but also showcased the commitment of the Indian leadership to promoting a healthy and harmonious lifestyle through this ancient practice,” it reads. (SIC) In the meantime, Samagra Shiksha, J&K, organized the Yoga Session, where hundreds of Students participated. In the event, Ashok Sharma DSEJ and Rakesh Magotra (JKAS) Project Director, Samagra shiksha, J&K along with other Officials of School Education Department also participated in the yoga Session—(KNO)
